Barbara moved here from England in 2000 when her husband's job in the oil business transferred to Eiouston. Her children attended the international school so she is well acquainted with the needs of people relocating to the area and with many areas of Houston and the surrounding cities. She has a Bachelor's degree in Education and worked for the University of Durham as an Educational Consultant prior to her move to this great city. In addition to her real estate experience, she has been involved in the relocation business, including advising families on school placements in the Houston area.

Barbara's impressive qualifications include specialized courses in Residential Inspection, and is an expert in home staging. She is also has a designation as an Accredited Buyers Representative and speaks some French and German.

Outside real estate, Barbara has been involved with child welfare as a Guardian ad Litern for Child Advocates and is a volunteer for Ten Thousand Villages Fair Trade Organization in Rice Village. She also performs as a vocalist with the Singing Belles, a Houston based choral group. Barbara is married with four grown up children and also has an interest in travel especially when it involves visiting her young grandson.
